Infrastructure isn't a fancy word trotted out by politicians trying to sound intelligent - it is the very backbone of a community's ability to keep its citizens safe and healthy. We benefit from the previous generation's work in this area, and have a responsibility to leave a similar legacy for our children. Yet infrastructure has not always been the top priority in Langley Township. Tax dollars should go to useful infrastructure first.
My pledge to Langley's taxpayers:
- Improve sewer trunk lines and improve drinking water throughout the Township
- Upgrade emergency services
- Tackle the traffic bottlenecks that plague the Township
- Improve the Fraser River dyking system
- Treat your taxdollars as a sacred trust by reducing waste and focusing on key priorities
